I have recently self-published a non-fiction book through Smashwords, and I am using that as a sample of my work. I did everything from start to finish, so it features my writing, research, writing, editing, proofreading, cover design, and layout. It's not a masterpiece, but it demonstrates that I am familiar with every step in the self-publishing process. It's available for free wherever fine books are sold.
